Michigan State baseball beat Purdue handily on Sunday afternoon at McLane Stadium, 8-1. The Spartans (24-13, 7-5) got an excellent performance out of left-hander Anthony Misiewicz in his first-career start. He allowed just one unearned run and four hits to Purdue in the win. He also had three strikeouts.

INDIANA 3, MICHIGAN 2: Indiana scored twice in the bottom of the 10th inning to erase a Michigan home run in the top half of the extra inning to complete a weekend sweep of the Wolverines (22-20, 8-7 Big Ten).
