During a timeout in the first half of Ohio State's win over Minnesota on Wednesday, Ohio State legend and Big Ten Icon (No. 8) Jerry Lucas was recognized on the court. Lucas, a three-time All-American, three-time Big Ten Most Valuable Player, two-time National Player of the Year and two-time Final Four MVP, received his NCAA Tournament Top 75 Player trophy. Watch the ceremony here.
In a cool scene, former Ohio State star and current BTN analyst Jim Jackson presented Lucas with the hardware. Not a bad duo in the least bit.
Numbers don't leave much room for debate that Lucas is best basketball player in Big Ten history

Jerry Lucas given a standing ovation by the crowd at Ohio State. Very appropriate. True legend.
