Sunday featured a light schedule on the Big Ten women's hardwood, but that doesn't mean there wasn't some great action. Northwestern 70, Minnesota 63: BOX | RECAP
Northwestern hung tight with Minnesota through the first 30 minutes of play, and pulled away over the final 10 to earn a 70-63 road win over the Golden Gophers at Williams Arena on Sunday afternoon. Senior Kendall Hackney paced the Wildcats with 20 points and eight rebounds as the visitors improved to 12-13 on the year.
Iowa 72, No. 18 Purdue 52: BOX | AP RECAP
Samantha Logic scored 26 points Sunday to lead Iowa to a 72-52 win over No. 18 Purdue. Logic made 10 of 13 shots and contributed nine assists, while Theairra Taylor had 15 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. The Hawkeyes (17-10, 6-7 Big Ten) ended a five-game losing streak and won for the first time in West Lafayette since 1998; Purdue had won the last 12 meetings at home.
