We roll right into the college football bowl announcements tonight with "The Big Ten Bowl Selection Special" at 9 p.m. ET. Dave Revsine hosts the 60-minute special and Gerry DiNardo and Howard Griffith give their insights on each Big Ten bowl matchup. Select coaches also will be interviewed during the show, which airs live from the Chicago studio.

Purdue accepted an invitation to play in the Heart of Dallas Bowl at the historic Cotton Bowl Stadium in Dallas on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013. Kickoff is set for noon ET, and the game will be televised by ESPNU. The Boilermakers (6-6, 3-5 Big Ten - fourth in Leaders Division) will face a Big XII opponent that likely won?t be announced until after tonight?s BCS Selection Show.
Nebraska will return to the Capital One Bowl for the second consecutive season, the bowl game announced Sunday afternoon. The Capital One Bowl will kick off at 1 p.m. ET (1 p.m. ET) with national television coverage on ABC. Nebraska?s opponent from the Southeastern Conference will be announced later this evening.
For the third time in four seasons, Northwestern will play in a New Year's Day bowl game after accepting a bid to the 2013 TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl in Jacksonville, Fla., announced Sunday by NU vice president for athletics and recreation Jim Phillips and TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl executive director Rick Catlett. The event pits the Wildcats (9-3) against a to-be-determined opponent representing the Southeastern Conference.
