The Iowa men's basketball team torched Quincy, 100-54, in exhibition action Sunday afternoon at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. Iowa scored the game's first 22 points and held Quincy without a field goal for the first 10-plus minutes. It also notched 41 points off 31 turnovers. Four Hawkeyes scored in double figures, paced by freshman Mike Gesell's 18 points. Josh Oglesby and Eric May each scored 15, and Melsahn Basabe added 10.

Six Hawkeyes hit at least one 3-pointer, and they shot 44 percent from distance (11-of-25). Gesell and Oglesby each drained three triples, and May hit a pair.
