The fourth-ranked Penn State women's soccer team clinched the 2012 Big Ten Championship after earning a 1-1 draw against Michigan on Sunday. The title marks Penn State's 15th straight Big Ten crown, the most consecutive titles by a Big Ten women's program in any sport. The win also clinched the No. 1 seed in the Big Ten Tournament, which will be held Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 in Bloomington, Ind.

After a scoreless first half, Michigan?s Nkem Ezurike scored a goal in the 60th minute to give the Wolverine?s a 1-0 lead. Nittany Lion senior Christine Nairn knotted up the score on a penalty kick in the 86th minute to force extra play.
