Thanks to a mean rushing attack, the margin is still 11, as Northwestern leads 21-10. The Wildcats rushed for 83 yards in the quarter. The Wildcats opened up the lead, 21-10, after Venric Mark pounded in a 48-yard touchdown run to end a two-play, 57-yard drive. Northwestern's Mark hit 150 yards rushing for the game in the quarter, part of his 151-yard rushing performance thus far.

Minnesota closed the gap to 14-10 when MarQueis Gray took a quarterback draw all the way for a 25-yard touchdown run to finish off a 71-yard drive.

The Wildcats will start the second half with the ball.
