Braxton Miller threw for 72 yards and one touchdown and ran for 146 yards and one touchdown and the Buckeyes lead 35-24 at halftime. Ohio State racked up 72 passing yards and 171 rushing yards in the second quarter. The last 14 points have been scored by the Buckeyes.

Nebraska made its lead 17-7 when Brett Maher made a 26-yard field goal on the last play of a seven-play, 22-yard drive. The Cornhuskers started in good field position at Ohio State's 31-yard line when the Buckeyes failed to convert on fourth-and-7.

Ohio State put the finishing touches on a 75-yard drive when Carlos Hyde pounded in a one-yard touchdown run to make the score 17-14. The Buckeyes' drive was keyed by Miller's 72-yard run.

Miller's 18-yard touchdown pass to Jeff Heuerman gave Ohio State the lead, 21-17. The Buckeyes began the drive with good field position after Bradley Roby intercepted Taylor Martinez for the second time.

Martinez's nine-yard touchdown run gave Nebraska the lead 24-21 after a three-play, 75-yard drive.

Hyde's seven-yard touchdown run finished off a nine-play, 75-yard drive and gave Ohio State the lead, 28-24. The Buckeyes threw just two times during that march downfield.

Ohio State opened up the lead, 35-24, after marching down the field for a six-play, 58-yard drive that ended when Miller took a quarterback draw all the way for a 30-yard touchdown run.

The Cornhuskers are set to receive to start the second half.
