In the second quarter, Utah State's Matt Austin caught an 11-yard touchdown pass, and the Aggies now lead 14-3. Wisconsin closed the gap to 7-3 when Kyle French kicked a 19-yard field goal to put the finishing touches on a 62-yard drive.
Utah State opened up the lead, 14-3, after marching down the field for a five-play, 24-yard drive that ended when Chuckie Keeton threw an 11-yard touchdown pass to Austin. The Aggies began the drive with good field position after Utah State recovered a fumble.
The Aggies will start the second half with the ball.
