We tracked tonight's three Big Ten games in the Sweet Sixteen. Wisconsin had a chance late but fell to Syracuse in the first game, 63-64. Then Michigan State was eliminated by Louisville. In the late game, Ohio State handled Cincinnati.
BTN's TV coverage continues with nightly episodes of Big Ten Basketball and Beyond: Tournament Edition. On nights with tournament competition, the show airs immediately following the last game. Throughout the tourney we're also airing the postgame press conferences (details here).
If the Buckeyes beat Cincinnati, and the Badgers can take down No. 1 Syracuse, the two could meet in the East Regional finals with a Final Four berth on the line. Indiana will face Kentucky in the South Region, while Michigan State will play Louisville in the West. Use the full interactive bracket at NCAA.com for TV info.
This is the just the third time since the tourney expanded to 64 teams in 1985 that the Big Ten has sent four teams to the Sweet 16. The other years were 1999 and 1989. Also advancing to the Sweet 16 in the women's bracket are the Nittany Lions. Penn State faces Connecticut on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.
