John Beilein and Michigan announced Wednesday that sophomores Evan Smotrycz and Colton Christian and freshman Carlton Brundidge have decided to transfer.
"We never like to see players leave the program, however, Evan, Colton and Carlton have made the decision to transfer and continue their careers elsewhere," Beilein said in a release. "All three are fine young men with bright futures. We wish them and their families nothing but success going forward."
Smotrycz, the biggest name of the three, played in all 69 games over his two seasons, averaging seven points and 3.6 rebounds, including 7.7 points and 4.9 rebounds this season. Christian came off the bench in 45 games, averaging 3.8 minutes, and Brundidge averaged 2.9 minutes in his first season.
