Northwestern all-time leading scorer John Shurna made 274 3-pointers during his illustrious career. He isn't done yet. While the triples won't count on the final ledger, Shurna will be flinging 3s in the State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships at the Final Four, it was announced Tuesday.

Shurna is the first Wildcat to participate in the event since Craig Moore (2009). He paced the Big Ten with an average of 2.9 3s per game this season and his 274 treys rank third in school history.

The Hampton Hotels Men's 3-Point Contest is at 9 p.m. ET Thursday, March 29, at Tulane University's Fogelman Arena. Shurna also is slated to participate in the Reese's College All-Star Game at 4:35 p.m. ET Friday, March 30 at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
