The Big Ten Conference released its Big Ten Men's Basketball Players of the Week for Feb. 20-26 action on Monday. See the winners and what they did to earn the distinctions in this post. The women's honors were released Monday, too.
Co-Players of the Week: Matt Gatens, Iowa, G - Sr. - 6-5 - Iowa City, Iowa - West
- Averaged 27.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in two games last week
- Scored a career-high 33 points and added three rebounds and three assists against No. 16/15 Wisconsin, shooting 66.7 percent (12-18) from the field, making seven of 10 from three-point range in the Hawkeyes? 67-66 win
- Posted 22 points and two boards on the road against Illinois, converting on five of six three-point attempts
- Earns the first Player of the Week honor of his career

Robbie Hummel, Purdue, F - Sr. - 6-8 - Valparaiso, Ind. - Valparaiso
- Notched 23.0 points and 8.0 rebounds per game to lead Purdue to wins over Nebraska and at No. 11/13 Michigan
- Recorded a season-high 29 points and added seven rebounds and two blocks in the Boilermakers? 83-65 win over the Huskers
- Tallied 17 points and nine rebounds in Purdue?s 75-61 road win against the Wolverines
- Collects his fourth career weekly award and first this season

Freshman of the Week: Trey Burke, Michigan, G - 5-11 - Columbus, Ohio - Northland
- Averaged 15.5 points, 4.0 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game last week
- Led the Wolverines in scoring against Northwestern, posting 19 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in the 67-55 overtime win
- Scored 12 points and added four assists against Purdue
- Reels in his second straight weekly award and sixth this season
