The Big Ten Conference announced its latest Men's Basketball Players of the Week on Monday, and the honorees featured two student-athletes who earned their second honors of the young season. Player of the Week: Meyers Leonard, Illinois, C - So. - 7-1 - Robinson, Ill. - Robinson

  • Averaged 16.5 points and 14.5 rebounds in Illinois? 64-60 win over Cornell and 78-74 loss to No. 9/8 Missouri in St. Louis last week
  • Also averaged 3.5 assists, 2.5 blocks and 1.0 steals while shooting 62.5 percent from the floor last week
  • Set a career high with 16 rebounds against Cornell
  • Earns his second Player of the Week award of the season and of his career

Freshman of the Week: Aaron White, Iowa, F - 6-8 - Strongsville, Ohio - Strongsville

  • Averaged 17.5 points and 5.5 rebounds as Iowa defeated Central Arkansas (105-64) and Boise State (81-72) last week
  • Shot 66.7 percent from the field and 85.7 percent from the line last week
  • Set a career high with two blocks against Central Arkansas
  • Reels in his second Freshman of the Week award
