Pete Fiutak at decided to get out in front of the college football crowd and write about his top candidates for the 2012 Heisman Trophy. Oh come on, don't pretend you haven't at least thought about it, too. He's produced a slideshow of 16 names, and three of them are Big Ten players. Can you guess who they are? James White, Wisconsin: "Wisconsin running backs are a little like Texas Tech quarterbacks," Fiutak writes. "They don?t get as much credit as they should because of the system they?re in." Read the whole thing.

Denard Robinson, Michigan: Fiutak writes, "Robinson won the September Heisman in each of the past two seasons. In 2012, if he can cut down on his interceptions, run for another 1,000 yards and take Michigan to the Big Ten title, he might be able to win it in December, too." Read the whole thing.
