On Monday, the Big Ten Conference handed out its weekly Men's Basketball Player of the Week honors. See the winners for Nov. 14-20 in this post.
Player of the Week: Drew Crawford, Northwestern, F - Jr. - 6-5 - Naperville, Ill. - Naperville Central
- Named MVP of the Charleston Classic after leading Northwestern to a 3-0 record and the tournament title
- Averaged 24.0 points and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 57.4 percent from the field, including 52.4 percent from 3-point range
- Recorded four assists, four blocks and three steals in the tournament
- Earns the second weekly award of his career after receiving the honor as a freshman (Dec. 14, 2009)
- Last Northwestern Player of the Week: John Shurna (Dec. 20, 2010)
Freshman of the Week: Cody Zeller, Indiana, F - 6-11 - Washington, Ind. – Washington
- Averaged 18.5 points and 7.0 rebounds to help Indiana to victories over Evansville and Savannah State
- Shot 85.7 percent from the field and currently ranks second in the conference, shooting 82.6 percent this season
- Earns his second consecutive Freshman of the Week accolade
