The Big Ten had a handful of women's basketball games Sunday, including No. 11 Penn State and No. 17 Purdue in action. The Boilermakers drilled Tennessee Martin, 65-39, on their way to tallying the 700th win in program history and Penn State rallied to defeat South Carolina. Purdue 65, Tennessee-Martin 39 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Using a dominating defense to shut down a high-scoring, hot-shooting visitor, No. 16 Purdue cruised to a 65-39 victory over Tennessee-Martin on Sunday. In winning its first three games, UT-Martin (3-1) averaged 80 points and 12 made 3-pointers but the Skyhawks managed to shoot just .283 (15-of-53) against Purdue's rangy defense, including .273 (6-of-22) from the 3-point line. Sam Ostarello scored 10 of her 13 points in the second half to lead Purdue (3-0), which picked up the 700th victory in program history.

Michigan 51, Seton Hall 47 BOX

Michigan overcame a double-digit deficit in the first half and defended a Seton Hall charge in the final minutes to pick up a 51-47 win Sunday afternoon in Walsh Gymnasium. Rachel Sheffer led U-M with a game-high 18 points, hitting 3-of-6 from the field and 12-of-14 from the free throw line. She also tied a career high with three blocks to go with five rebounds. Penn State 55, South Carolina 50 BOX | AP RECAP

(AP) Maggie Lucas scored the final six points of a game-closing 13-0 run and No. 11 Penn State escaped with a 55-50 victory over South Carolina on Sunday. Trailing 50-42 with 5:47 left, Penn State (3-1) turned up its defense and held South Carolina without a point the rest of the game. Lucas, who led the Lady Lions with 18 points, had eight during the
