The University of Michigan men's basketball team defeated Wayne State, 47-39, in an exhibition contest on Friday night at Crisler Arena. Sophomore guard Tim Hardaway Jr. led the scoring and rebounding for the Wolverines with 20 points and nine boards, while senior guard Zack Novak recorded 14 points and freshman guard Trey Burke tallied six points with four assists.
