Week 8 ended in absolutely unbelievable fashion, with Michigan State throwing a last-second Hail Mary to hand No. 6 Wisconsin its first loss the season. The original call on the field had the Spartans short of the goal line, but the call was reversed. In other Week 8 action, Iowa knocked off Indiana, Purdue topped Illinois, Nebraska ran past Minnesota and Penn State held off Northwestern.
