Offensive Player of the Week: Montee Ball, Wisconsin
- Accounted for four touchdowns, three on the ground and one passing strike, and 213 yards of total offense in Wisconsin?s 59-point outing on Saturday
- Rushed for 142 yards on 14 carries (10.1 yards per carry) and three touchdowns on runs of 5, 35 and 54 yards
- Became the first non-Badger quarterback to throw a touchdown since 1982 when he connected with Russell Wilson on a 25-yard pass
Defensive Player of the Week: John Simon, Ohio State
- Recorded a career-high eight tackles in Ohio State?s victory over previously unbeaten Illinois
- Posted career-best four tackles for loss, one off the Ohio State program record, and two sacks
- Helped Ohio State hold the Illini to 27 points below their season average and just 285 total yards
Special Teams Player of the Week: Anthony Fera, Penn State
- Converted on all five kicking attempts, three field goals and two extra points, in Penn State?s 23-18 win over Purdue
- Successful on field goal attempts from 29, 49 and 29 yards despite wind gusts of 52 miles per hour
- Had three punts inside the Purdue 20, including a 69-yarder which Penn State downed at the Purdue two-yard line with 2:36 remaining in the game
Freshman of the Week: Mike Sadler, Michigan State
- Averaged 41.0 yards per punt on five attempts in Michigan State?s win over previously unbeaten Michigan on Saturday
- Had one punt downed inside the Michigan 20-yard line and a long of 45 yards despite wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour
