Four Big Ten teams make NCAA men's soccer tournament

Four Big Ten men’s soccer teams earned berths to the 2015 NCAA Division I Men’s Soccer Tournament, as announced Monday. Indiana, Maryland, Ohio State and Rutgers all secured bids to the national tournament, which begins Thursday. Maryland wins Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament title

No. 3 seed Maryland topped No. 1 seed Ohio State 2-0 to win the Terrapins’ second-straight Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament title on Sunday.  With the win, the Terrapins earned the Big Ten’s automatic berth into the NCAA Tournament. Maryland is making its 15th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, and its 33rd overall. Eryk Williamson scored a goal in the 10th minute off of an assist from Ivan Magalhaes, and Tsubasa Endoh secured the win with a goal in the 88th minute with an assist from Williamson. The NCAA Selection Show will air live on NCAA.com on Monday at 1 p.m. ET. Ohio State, Maryland advance to men's soccer tourney championship

Ohio State shut out Rutgers 4-0 and Maryland advanced after beating Indiana 3-2 on penalty kicks after two overtimes in the 2015 Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament semifinals held Friday at Ohio State. BTN will air both Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament semifinal matches live on Friday from Ohio State, and both game are also available on BTN2Go. At 1 p.m. ET, top-seed Ohio State faces Rutgers before No. 2 seed Indiana faces Maryland at 3:30 p.m.. Big Ten Men's Soccer Tournament Bracket Announced

The Big Ten announced the 2015 Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament bracket on Wednesday, with Ohio State earning the No. 1 seed after clinching the outright Big Ten Championship with a 3-1 win over Michigan on Wednesday. The title marks the fourth for the Buckeyes, and their first since 2009. The tournament champion will earn the Big Ten’s automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
