Video: Lights go out during Tom Izzo's postgame presser

No. 20 Michigan and No. 13 Michigan State both shot lights out in the Wolverines’ big rivalry win Sunday afternoon, so it was kind of fitting that the lights went out on Tom Izzo during his postgame press conference. Izzo was wrapping up his media session and talking about Michigan State’s injuries when the lights suddenly went off. Watch it in this post.

“I’m not happy with the way we played, but at the same time, I got to understand there’s going to be some points that not everything is going to go real smooth,” Izzo said.

Then, the lights went out, and Izzo joked: “The lights go out, it’s time to go home.”

I love how Izzo blames injuries. Michigan is missing McGary and they don’t complain, they just win.

Dawson might be good for 2 or 3 rebounds, 5 points, and an occasional block. He will pick up 3 or 4 fouls, will turn over the ball 2 o3 times and will lose his man in the lane for a basket once each half. This team is capable of winning 75% of their games, no more and no less!

lol@sparty…whatever Michigan owns you. Something like 7 out of the last 8 now isnt it. Same old sparty excuses when they lose.

haha yeah ed and UM is something like 1-6 the last 7 years in football when they play only ONCE per year! isn’t that a nice stat? and its 2-6 the last eight games don’t over credit them please…as it will be sporty cutting down the nets in Arlington while Staus-kisses his title hopes goodbye from his couch!
