Ohio State hockey players have spoken, and they are fans of the school’s Buckeye Leaves. One look at the team’s new alternate jersey is all the proof one needs. The Buckeyes’ new sweater, voted upon by current and former players and unveiled Wednesday, features the popular logo all over it.
What do you think? it is just an alternate jersey, so there’s no way to know how often the Buckeyes will wear the new threads. At the very least, we can expect to see it for some of the team’s biggest games.
The hockey team isn’t the only Ohio State team adding the Buckeye Leaves to its jersey. The football team, which has long used Buckeye stickers on its helmets, is adding seven Buckeye leaves to the back of its jersey collar to commemorate the program’s seven national titles.
