Denard Robinson received his share of flak for his throwing abilities during his standout Michigan career. His latest throw might be his worst. Robinson, who's preparing for this month's NFL draft, threw out the first pitch at the Detroit Tigers game on Tuesday. Let's just say, Robinson won't be taking Justin Verlander's job any time soon.

Not only did Robinson not throw a strike, he bounced the ball like 30 feet in front of the plate. In other words, he under-threw his receiver by a lot.

Mechanics got in Robinson's way here. We should forgive him, though, because he's still recovering from an injured nerve in his throwing elbow. Also, these days, he?s spending his time on the receiving end of thrown balls.

Either way, Robinson looked great in his personalized No. 16 Tigers jersey.
