Ohio State survives scare from Indiana, moves to 7-0

Ohio State at Indiana - Football Highlights

Braxton Miller scored on a 67-yard touchdown run, threw TD passes of 60 and 46 yards and produced his third straight 100-yard rushing game, helping No. 8 Ohio State escape with a 52-49 win at Indiana on Saturday night. The victory makes the Buckeyes (7-0, 3-0 Big Ten) the first ranked team with seven wins.

3rd quarter recap: Ohio State 38, Indiana 27

Braxton Miller 67-Yard TD Run

Ohio State picked up 168 yards in the ground game during the third quarter, and the Buckeyes now lead 38-27. Mitch Ewald split the uprights two times in the quarter for Indiana. The Hoosiers closed the gap to 24-17 when Ewald kicked a 21-yard field goal to put the finishing touches on a 71-yard drive. The key play on Indiana’s drive was Cameron Coffman’s 39-yard pass to Kofi Hughes.

Hoffman just so happens to have built a very special friendship with Nebraska running back Rex Burkhead. The two work together on “Team Jack,” as the young fan battles his disease.
