Travis Statchuk and Max McCormick each scored a goal for Ohio State as the Buckeyes beat Northern Michigan 2-0 on Friday night. With the win, Brady Hjelle got his second shutout of the season. The two teams face off again Saturday night at 7:05pm ET and can be seen on the Big Ten Digital Network.

It has no such concerns, as probation means the Buckeyes can’t play in the Big Ten title game or in a bowl. Still, Ohio State would like to finish unbeaten and faces its toughest test yet at Wisconsin.
By all accounts, few things went wrong for No. 1 Indiana during its blowout win over Sam Houston State on Thursday night. In Tom Crean’s postgame interview with BTN’s Jim Jackson, the Indiana coach stressed how his team him with the sustained effort from his team for the entire game. That’s why we hope his players didn’t give their coach a hard time about one specific mishandling of the gum near the end of the win.

You can’t help but notice the clunky brace on Robert Marve’s left knee. It wasn’t there way back in 2007, when Marve was one of the nation’s hottest shots, a can’t-miss prospect from Plant High School in Tampa, Fla. Name a school, any school, and Marve could have gone to it.
The focus this week is on Madison, where Ohio State will try to move to 11-0. Wisconsin has a spot in the Big Ten title game sewn up but would like to win a share of the league title. To have a shot, the Badgers must down the Buckeyes.
