(AP) Jordan Morgan scored on a layup with 7.9 seconds left, giving No. 8 Michigan a 64-63 victory over Illinois in Friday’s Big Ten tournament. The Illini had a chance to win on Tracy Abrams’ shot, but it bounced off the front of the rim as the final buzzer sounded.
The first two days of the Big Ten Men’s Basketball Tournament are over, and Saturday’s semifinals are set. It’s No. 1 seed Michigan facing No. 5 seed Ohio State at 1:40 p.m. ET, followed by No. 2 seed Wisconsin playing No. 3 seed Michigan State. Track all the action on our Big Ten scoreboard.
