What kind of week has it been in the Big Ten? With Northwestern winning at Illinois on Thursday, road teams have won six of the nine games this week. And we still have Saturday to go. Are you listening, Iowa and Michigan State? Wisconsin plays at Iowa while Ohio State plays at Michigan State in two big games on Saturday. Glenn Robinson III got a steal at Minnesota and took it down the court for two points, but these were no ordinary points. Robinson eyed the basket and executed a 360-degree spin before dunking it home in front of the soldout Minnesota crowd. Watch it in the video in this post. No. 5 Michigan won the game, 83-75. Northwestern knocks off No. 22 Illinois

Reggie Hearn scored 20 points and Northwestern built an early lead using 3-point shooting to hand No. 22 Illinois its third straight loss, 68-54 on Thursday night. Illinois has lost five of seven after starting 12-0. The Wildcats (11-7, 2-3 Big Ten) were 8 of 15 from 3-point range but hit five of those shots in the first half to build a 36-21 lead. No. 5 Wolverines win battle over No. 12 Gophers

Tim Hardaway Jr. scored 21 points and Trey Burke had 18 points and nine assists to help No. 5 Michigan stave off No. 12 Minnesota 83-75 on Thursday night. Hardaway hit four 3-pointers in the first half for the Wolverines (17-1, 4-1 Big Ten), who had the lead for the final 33 minutes of the game and finished with 13 steals to fuel their fast break. Near the very end of the first half of Thursday night’s women’s basketball game between Michigan State and Iowa on BTN/BTN2Go, Michigan State’s Klarissa Bell took the inbound pass, turned, and, well, watch the video for yourself. She’s a few steps from crossing center court, and while the shot doesn’t have much arc, they all count if they go through the hoop.
