Big Ten announces 2017-18 conference opponent breakdown

The Big Ten Conference revealed a breakdown of all 14 schools’ opponents for the 2017-18 Big Ten men’s basketball season on Monday. Conference teams will compete in an 18-game conference schedule, playing five teams both home and away and eight teams once.

Rutgers will be a Homecoming opponent three times, more than any other school as the Scarlet Knights play at Nebraska, at Michigan and at Penn State. Illinois, Indiana, Maryland and Michigan will be Homecoming foes two times apiece. Iowa, Minnesota, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State are not Homecoming foes.
