Will Sheehey posterizes Penn State

When thinking about the top dunkers in the Big Ten this season, Indiana’s Will Sheehey isn’t a name that many have put on top of that list. Sheehey drove baseline and exploded for a two-handed posterizing dunk that had the crowd at Assembly Hall jumping out of their seats. Former Flyin’ Illini star Stephen Bardo, the color commentator for the game, loved what he saw, too, saying: “No sir Jordan Dickerson. I’m the senior

Aaron White Q&A: It's all about energy for Hawkeyes

In many ways, Aaron White is the epitome of Iowa basketball, a try-hard guy who continues to emerge as one of the Big Ten’s most versatile and indispensable players largely because of hard work. Bottom line: White is a player any coach would love to have. His ability to impact the game on myriad levels is unique. It didn’t take White long to make an impact upon arriving in Iowa City in 2011-12, averaging 11.1 points and 5.7 rebounds with 14 starts. He moved into the starting lineup as a sophomore last season, upping his averages to 12.8 points and

Dienhart: It's Michigan's Big Ten title to lose

It’s true, so let’s go ahead and type it: Michigan’s 70-60 win Tuesday night at Ohio State put the Wolverines in the driver’s seat to win the Big Ten for a second time in three seasons. “It’s great to be in this,” John Beilein said after notching Michigan’s first win in Columbus since 2003. “I don’t know if we expected this this year. We’re watching (Trey Burke and Tim Hardaway Jr.) in the NBA right now and they’re doing really well. I said, ‘geez, we better have made it to the Final Four last year.’ Those were really two good
