The 2014 Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament is fast approaching, and that means it’s time to rank the top 10 games of the year. Talk about a difficult list! With so many close games, this is no easy chore. With that said, here’s my list of the 10 best games from the 2014 Big Ten season.
The Big Ten Conference announced the All-Big Ten Women’s Basketball Teams and individual award winners on Monday. Nebraska’s Jordan Hooper and Connie Yori were named Big Ten Player of the Year and Big Ten Coach of the Year, respectively, by the coaches, while Penn State’s Maggie Lucas and Coquese Washington earned the honors from the media.

In a chilling moment Sunday, also Purdue’s Senior Day, the Boilermakers started Houser. She played the first 2:34, and then went back on the court in the closing moments to get her final curtain call.
The Big Ten women’s basketball regular season came to a close Sunday. And the final day was a busy one, as 10 of the conference’s teams were in action. Purdue blew by Nebraska, 82-66, in a battle of ranked teams and No. 25 Iowa drilled Illinois, 81-56. Catch up on all the action in this post.
(AP) Ariel Edwards scored 21 points and No. 8 Penn State beat Michigan 77-62 on Saturday to clinch a share of the Big Ten title for the third straight season. Penn State can win the title outright Sunday if Nebraska loses to Purdue, and Michigan State falls to Indiana.
