Sierra Lawrence’s two-run home run to left field in the top of the seventh inning allowed Michigan to claim the series and improve to 7-2 in Big Ten play. The victory marked Hutchins’ 1,458th career win, and it’s one she’ll likely never forget. The Wolverines made sure of that, dominating on the diamond and then celebrating their coach’s achievement following the final out (not the best day for an ice bath) and on the team bus. The University of Wisconsin-Madison announced a long-term partnership with Under Armour during a press conference on Friday afternoon. Wisconsin Athletic Director Barry Alvarez and Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank announced a new 10-year partnership, which is set to begin July 1, 2016.
