The seventh of the eight-episode series will demonstrate how Big Ten students and faculty rally together to make a difference in their communities.

A new episode of BTN’s new original series, Impact The World, airs at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday, Feb. 14. Hosted by Dennis Haysbert, the weekly program showcases some of the incredible Big Ten breakthroughs that are changing lives in the United States and around the world. This week we look at solar car, solar houses and competition to build a spacecraft.

Impact the World is a powerful new original series that shifts the focus from the playing field to the world stage where Big Ten professors and students are making their presence known. Hosted by Dennis Haysbert, this week’s episode will showcase ground-breaking medical developments from Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska.  The episode will air at 8 PM ET on Tuesday, Feb. 7, with re-airs at 11 p.m. ET Thursday, Feb. 9; and  11 AM and 5 p.m. ET Sunday, Feb. 12.

The fourth of the eight-episode series will highlight three high-profile medical advances from Big Ten universities. The episode will air at 10:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 31.

The third of the eight-episode series will showcase three Big Ten research programs with key implications at home, abroad and in space.  The episode will air at 8 p.m. ET on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

BTN’s powerful new original series “Impact the World” debuted Tuesday night. The series, hosted by actor Dennis Haysbert, will include 24 stories from all 12 Big Ten universities. On the debut episode, we focused on stories that illustrate the impact of advances in medical therapy and treatment at Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota.
