To start things off, Doran Grant picked off Danny Etling and returned it 33 yards for a touchdown just 57 seconds into the game. It’s been a highlight show ever since, including a pair of unconventional touchdown passes, one from Braxton Miller and another from Kenny Guiton.

Did you see this Derrick Walton Jr. sequence?

Derrick Walton Jr. showed why he was such a heralded recruit in the Michigan’s exhibition opener Tuesday at Crisler Center. In the span of 37 seconds, the true freshman scored seven points on three consecutive buckets, setting one up with a nifty steal and finish. After his final bucket, Walton grabbed a rebound, dribbled up the court and found Jordan Morgan for a wide open dunk. Watch the full sequence in this post.

It’s no secret that Minnesota wide receivers have struggled in 2013. Well, there was no struggling on Derrick Engel‘s part – at least not on a fourth-and-10 in the second quarter Saturday. It was the Jeremy Gallon show vs. Indiana

Michigan wide receiver Jeremy Gallon had a career day in Saturday’s wild 63-47 victory vs. Indiana. Devin Gardner’s favorite target went for a Big Ten-record 369 receiving yards and hauled in a pair of scoring strikes. The 369 yards were just 93 short of Gallon’s season total (462) entering the game. Watch a few of Gallon’s highlights in this post.

Check out what Purdue band formed at halftime

At halftime of the Purdue-Michigan State on Saturday afternoon, the Boilermakers’ marching band put on a performance that caught our attention. Motorcycle enthusiasts will find it interesting, too. Yes, the band formed a motorcycle, and it even included “exhaust” for when it moved across the field. It was really cool, and you can watch it below.

Michigan State’s defense just keeps making big plays. Early in the second quarter vs. Purdue, Max Bullough hit Purdue QB Danny Etling and forced a fumble, which Denicos Allen returned to the house for the game’s first score.
