But, for the first time since No. 2 Tennessee beat No. 1 Memphis on Feb. 24, 2008, we’ll have No. 1 vs. No. 2. It all happens Tuesday night, when No. 2 Michigan State plays No. 1 Kentucky at the United Center.

Iowa vs Michigan State - B1G Field Hockey Championship

Third-seeded Michigan State topped fifth-seeded Iowa, 3-2, to claim the 2013 Big Ten Field Hockey Tournament Championship on Sunday afternoon. The Spartans rallied from a 2-0 deficit, and Adelle Lever scored the go-ahead and eventual game-winning goal on a highlight play in the 62nd minute. Abby Barker accounted for Michigan State’s first two goals.
