Dienhart: Michigan Wolverines have their man in Warde Manuel

Michigan's new Athletic Director is Warde Manuel, a former Wolverine defensive tackle and a rising star in college athletics administration. He cut his teeth as an athletic director at the University of Buffalo and UConn. Now, he’s back at Michigan, where it all began as a student-athlete (1986-89) and administrator from 1998-2005.

In the days leading up to the 100th episode of the BTN Originals series "The Journey," we asked members of the show's production team to look back on seasons past. These are the people who travel across the conference each week of the football and basketball seasons to tell the stories around and inside the games. What were their favorite stories? Who were their favorite people? What were the best games? Read what they told us and watch some of their favorite stories. The 100 episode airs Sunday at 9:30 p.m..

During football and basketball games, BTN LiveBIG will spotlight notable examples of research, innovation and community service from around the conference. In-Game stories will provide more background on these features, and the opportunity to view the videos again. It was autumn on a farm a few miles outside of Ann Arbor, Mich. Jim Bristle was getting ready to harvest his crop of soybeans and field corn, but first he needed to take care of a drainage problem in one of his fields. Dig a hole, drop in a cistern, lay some drainage tile and pump the water out — simple enough. Except

Time for me to reach into my mailbag and answer your pressing queries. It seems a white-hot Iowa team has the attention of many of you. The Hawkeyes have a big game tonight. With that, let’s get going. Who do you have winning the Iowa-Maryland game in College Park, Md., on Thursday? – Braydon Dobereiner I know the Terrapins are tough with Melo Trimble and Co. BTN's Sparks: Nolf vs. Martinez review & weekend wrestling preview

This past weekend I was reminded that anything can happen on the wrestling mat. Everybody is beatable. Every single match has its own set of circumstances in comparison to the one before it. That match had been analyzed and talked about for countless hours by wrestling media and fans
