Andy and Dakota Mathias talk about the victory over Butler in the Round of 32, the impact of Isaac Haas’s injury and Purdue’s prospects for its Sweet Sixteen matchup with Texas Tech. Andy and Coach Chambers talk about the team’s first two victories in the NIT, and Coach Chambers gives his thoughts on Michigan and Purdue in the Sweet Sixteen. Episode 11: We talk to Michigan State’s Tom Izzo, Ohio State’s Chris Holtmann, BTN’s Jon Crispin, and Iowa basketball player Jordan Bohannon. Bohannon, of course, made news this weekend when he intentionally missed a free throw to preserve a record held by the late Chris Street. Izzo discusses the emotions around getting Miles Bridges cleared this weekend, plus they look at the upcoming tourney. Holtmann addresses the “surprise” of Ohio State finishing second and that dramatic double-overtime win vs. Indiana.
