Some schools in the Big Ten are sitting pretty, as Wisconsin, Purdue, Maryland and Northwestern appear to be locks. But after that, Big Ten schools have work to do. How many Big Ten teams will end up making the NCAA tourney? I posed that question to some esteemed folks who cover the great game of college basketball.

Jerry Palm, CBSSports.com: Purdue, Wisconsin, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State.

Steve Greenberg, Chicago Sun-Times, Bleacherreport.com: Sure things: Wisconsin, Maryland, Purdue, Northwestern. Michigan State gets there. Minnesota and Michigan, too. Sorry, Indiana, that's it.

Scott Dochterman, LandOfTen.com: Seven: Wisconsin, Purdue, Maryland, Northwestern, Michigan State, Minnesota and Michigan.

Jeff Potrykus, Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Wisconsin, Purdue, Maryland, Northwestern, Michigan State and Minnesota. Michigan is in the running.

Myron Medcalf, ESPN.com: Wisconsin, Purdue, Northwestern, Michigan, Michigan State, Maryland, Minnesota.
