Following its 18-3 victory over Massachusetts in Sunday?s NCAA quarterfinals, Maryland?s women?s lacrosse team secured its eighth straight Final Four appearance.

The Terrapins will take on fourth-seeded Syracuse in next Friday?s national semifinals at Talen Energy Stadium in Philadelphia. Maryland joins Penn State in the national semifinals, after the Nittany Lions defeated Penn in the NCAA quarterfinals on Saturday.

Zoe Stukenberg scored a game-high five goals for the Terrapins, while Caroline Steele and Megan Whittle each scored four goals and added an assist. Goalkeeper Megan Taylor tallied seven saves in the cage. Maryland remained unbeaten on the season, improving to 21-0.

The Terrapins will face Syracuse in the NCAA semifinals, while Penn State will battle third-seeded North Carolina. The semifinals will be played on Friday, May 27 at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. ET.
