Melo Trimble and Jake Layman scored 18 points each, and No. 14 Maryland celebrated Senior Night with the team's best game in weeks, an 81-55 rout of Illinois. Also, Northwestern spoiled Senior Night at Penn State and beat the Nittany Lions, 71-61.
