Maryland wins share of second straight Big Ten championship

Maryland clinched at least a share of the Big Ten regular-season title Saturday afternoon, thanks to Michigan State downing Ohio State in triple overtime.

The Terrapins (15-2) secure their second Big Ten title in as many seasons in the conference, and it can make it another outright crown with a season-ending victory over Minnesota on Sunday. Lose to the Golden Gophers, and the Terrapins and Buckeyes will share the title.

The Big Ten Women?s Basketball Tournament will be held March 2-6 at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
