Take a deep breath, Ohio State fans: Braxton Miller is returning to OSU for his senior season, and this time, the news is official.

In an interview with the Columbus Dispatch, Miller confirmed that he will be back playing for the Buckeyes this season. He was forced to miss the entire 2014 season after tearing his labrum in his right shoulder in August.

?I?m from Ohio, this is my home state,? Miller told the Dispatch. ?This is where I started and this is where I?m going to finish it.?

Miller also spoke about rumors of him leaving Ohio State and transferring to another school.

?Schools reached out, they reached out hard, and I kept my head where it needed to be, and I stayed smart with my situation. It was kind of tough for me and my family to go through that situation, the second (shoulder) surgery and stuff like that.?

There have been rumors of Miller potentially switching positions with the emergence of J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones at quarterback. However, Miller told the Dispatch that he is returning to Ohio State with the intention of playing quarterback.

"God put me on this earth … to be an athlete, and the first thing in mind is being a quarterback, and just be smart about what I do."
