Michigan's football program had led the nation in average home attendance for 16 straight years heading into the 2014 college football season.

Not anymore.

Ohio State, which averaged more than 105,00 fans per game during its 2014 national championship season, holds the torch after leading the nation in home attendance (105,911) last season.

The popular Ohio State Twitter handle @BrutusBuckeye, which currently has just under 100,000 followers, sent out multiple tweets on Tuesday letting Michigan fans know who holds the record.

The first one, embedded above, was phrased as a playful question, offering this obvious hint: "We 'Blue' right past them.".

The second, embedded below, provides the answer.

This is some clean fun between rivals.
