The 2015 MLB First-Year Player Draft starts at 6 p.m. ET Monday, and several Big Ten players and signees can expect to be selected in the three-day event.

According to baseballamerica.com, the Big Ten boasts 14 of the draft's top 500 prospects, headlined by Illinois closer Tyler Jay (No. 13).

Six Big Ten teams have at least one player on the list. Maryland, which is in its second consecutive Super Regional, leads the way with five players. Michigan (3), Illinois (2), Iowa (2), Michigan State (1) and Ohio State (1) round out the Big Ten contingent.
