Three former Big Ten standouts were selected in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft on Thursday night in Chicago.

Iowa offensive tackle Brandon Scherff was the first Big Ten product off the board, being selected No. 5 overall by the Washington Redskins.

Michigan State's Trae Waynes went No. 11 to the Minnesota Vikings, and Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon was picked by the San Diego Chargers with the No. 15 pick.
