Jim Harbaugh appears to be enjoying being back on campus.

Harbaugh, who was hired late last month to replace Brady Hoke at Michigan, recently spent some time with the Maize Rage, Michigan's student body, and today he kicked it with the Michigan band. He even played the piccolo.

Make no mistake about it, the former Michigan quarterback is an absolute star on campus.

Everybody is excited about him and what his success at every stop on his coaching career could mean for Michigan's future.

The thinking is, if Harbaugh could win at San Diego and Stanford, what is he going to be able to do at a place with the resources and brand recognition of a Michigan? It's exciting, for sure.

Here are a couple more pictures to show just how excited everyone is with Harbaugh.

He also had some fun on the court.
