TOM DIENHART

5. Tony Lippett, WR, Michigan State. Without a doubt, in my mind, he's been the best wide receiver in the Big Ten this year.
2014 stats: 39 rec., 786 yards, 8 TD; 1 car., 32 yards, 1 TD

4. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska. In a conference loaded with running backs, Abdullah could be the best.
2014 stats: 161 car., 1,024 yards, 14 TD; 11 rec., 143 yards, 2 TD

3. Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin. He's the ultimate big play waiting to happen.
2014 stats: 132 car., 1,046 yards, 13 TD; 6 rec., 21 yards, 1 TD

2. Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana. The number that stands out for me when you talk about Tevin Coleman is the over eight yards per carry.
2014 stats: 135 car., 1,192 yards, 11 TD; 17 rec., 140 yards

1. J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State. He's really become the catalyst for an Ohio State team that is playing better than anyone in the Big Ten right now.
2014 stats: 107-164, 1,615 yards, 20 TD, 5 INT; 78 car., 383 yards, 4 TD

SEAN MERRIMAN

5. David Cobb, RB, Minnesota. I've been really impressed everything he's doing in the running game.
2014 stats: 189 car., 1,013 yards, 5 TD; 8 rec., 93 yards

4. J.T. Barrett, QB, Ohio State. After this past week, he is absolutely in the Heisman conversation.
2014 stats: 107-164, 1,615 yards, 20 TD, 5 INT; 78 car., 383 yards, 4 TD

3. Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana. He has been absolutely outstanding for an Indiana team that really doesn't have an answer at quarterback.
2014 stats: 135 car., 1,192 yards, 11 TD; 17 rec., 140 yards

2. Melvin Gordon, RB, Wisconsin. He is the one consistent thing on that offense. The statistics prove it and if you watch this guy play, you'll see he has the look and style of an NFL running back.
2014 stats: 135 car., 1,192 yards, 11 TD; 17 rec., 140 yards

1. Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska. Nebraska and Minnesota, those seem to be the hot teams in the Big Ten West, and Ameer Abdullah is obviously the reason Nebraska is at that point.
2014 stats: 161 car., 1,024 yards, 14 TD; 11 rec., 143 yards, 2 TD
