ESPN selects Big Ten prime-time football games

ESPN/ABC tabbed its Big Ten prime-time games, and the list of six games includes the first November night game in the history of Ohio Stadium. The Buckeyes will host Illinois at 8 p.m. ET on Nov. 1. BTN/BTN2Go will announce its prime-time selection next Tuesday. See the full ESPN/ABC list of games in this post.

Sept. 6: Virginia Tech at Ohio State – 8 p.m. ET, ESPN

Sept. 20: Miami at Nebraska – 8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

Oct. 4: Nebraska at Michigan State – 8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

Oct. 11 : Penn State at Michigan – 7 p.m. ET, ESPN/ESPN2

Oct. 25: Ohio State at Penn State – 8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

Nov. 1 : Illinois at Ohio State – 8 p.m. ET, ABC/ESPN/ESPN2

why does BTN wait another week before selecting night games to televise?
