State got beat at home by a Big Ten team whose road record until that point was 1-7, with Appling and Payne both on the court. And what is Ohio State even doing still ranked when it lost at home to Michigan already ranked in the 20s? Why not rank Pitt who lost on a buzzer beater to the best team in the country? And Michigan’s big home loss + big road win gets it a net drop of 5 places? These rankings are a complete joke, and will be revealed as a joke come March. I cannot wait.

I forgot about Pitt’s loss to NC, but that still doesn’t explain why the Bucknuts deserve a ranking.
