Bowl projections: Where is your team this week?

It’s never too early to make postseason plans, right? Yes, it is. Well, forget all of that and play along with me in my weekly bowl projections. It’s fun to play make-believe! Iowa was the biggest mover in my weekly bowl prognostications, as I now have the Hawkeyes in the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, where they would play Baylor. Minnesota fell to the Little Caesar’s Bowl—if it is able to reach bowl eligibility, which could be difficult.

In the end, the Big Ten may have difficulty filling all of its bowl slots. Penn State is ineligible, while Indiana and Purdue are long, long, long, long, long shots.

Here are my latest bowl projections.

I am thinking AL doesn’t get to the NC, I think they stumble. Inconsistant offense and a who knows defense, after that A&M game. Unfortunatley with the “powers that be” they will probably stick them in the NC over another 2 or 3 unbeatens. I think Clemson, and Oregon go undefeated for sure, along with OSU.

Illinois has become one of the big surprises of the season.

Zach on 9/30/2013 @ 3:46pm EDT Said:

Wow this is stupid i bet none of these happen

Iowa will beat Nebraska and thus go to a New Years Day bowl. I like the way Ferentz has the Hawkeyes playing right now. Saturday’s game vs MSU will be very low scoring. I am predicting Iowa 10-7.

Doug on 9/30/2013 @ 7:29pm EDT Said:

Tom Fast you’re probably right about it being low scoring, but I see MSU by a FG or TD, can’t wait !

Thoms Grant on 9/30/2013 @ 8:28pm EDT Said:

Dont think OSU will make the MNC game, a one loss SEC champion and undefeated Oregon or Clemson (if either is still undefeated) would be ahead of an undefeated OSU.

outback bowl for Michigan? I think they will be playing in a better game this year.

Doug W on 10/6/2013 @ 4:17pm EDT Said:

Tom – You still have the bowls listed in the wrong order of selection. Wings picks before Gator this year.

Jack Kerry on 10/8/2013 @ 2:03pm EDT Said:

Literally none of these will happen, Ohio st won’t go to the BCS championship they’ll be in the rose bowl, wisconsin will be in the Cap. 1 bowl, northwestern will choke this year, minnesota sucks this year and if Indiana and Illinois keep playing well they will replace minnesota and Iowa

bob628 on 10/18/2013 @ 12:23pm EDT Said:

Isn’t it time for an update? OSU isn’t gong to play in the BCS title game, Northwestern isn’t going to the Rose Bowl, Wisconsi will lose again and michigan might make it to the Little Cesar’s Bowl staff on 10/18/2013 @ 1:12pm EDT Said:
